According to the B’rit ha dasha (New Covenant) we know that we who are in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) are now made alive with him (Rom 6:11 & 1st Cor 15:22). But you really wouldn’t suspect this was the case when observing some churches of today. Sadly and more increasing many within the Christian church live lifeless, unmoved, unfeeling and at times downright unloving. Could this all be the starting fulfillment of (Matt 24:12)? Could this all lead to the movement that users in the soon coming of our Messiah or the falling away just before he arrives (2Thess 2:3)? While our Messiah lives in us I believe that its important to have that genuine fruit that verifies this. Being dead to sin is must for all Christians, but being alive unto Messiah is completely mandatory! If were truly alive for the living G-d we should then act like it, or at least display what is in our hearts and lives before men and G-d. Here’s something to meditate on.

Living in deadness can be a form of denial from openly confessing the Messiah’s life

Mat 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me  B’nei ha ah’dam (before men), him will I confess also before Avi sh’ba Sha’mayim (my Father which is in heaven).

Demonstration of the life of Messiah in our lives is evidence that we are connected to him

Yohanan-Joh 15:1 I am Ha ga’fen ha A’mit’tit (the true vine), and A’vi (my Father) is the Ko’rem (husbandman).2  Every branch in me that beareth not P’ree (fruit)he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more P’ree (fruit).3  Now ye are Me’to ha’reem (clean) through the D’var (word) which I have spoken unto you.4  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear P’ree (fruit) of itself, except it abide in the Ga’fen (vine); no more can ye, except ye abide in me.5  Ah’ni Hu Ga’fen (I AM the vine), ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much P’ree (fruit): for without me ye can do nothing.6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a dead branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.7  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.8  Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my talmadim (disciples).

As found in the book of (2nd Thess 2:3) the Greek rendering of the word (Apostasia) “falling away” (means a departing, forsaking or breaking away from. But what exactly is the forsaking, departing or falling away from? Obviously from obeying and following the true doctrine of the scriptures. The scripture also reveals that this falling away will occur right before the time which leads up to the appearance of the Anti-messiah. As we see these days approaching we notice that there have been more and more various churches which appear to be forsaking the right way of scripture as well as teaching it. We can expect to see more and more of this in the days ahead. Be warned! Apostasy is on the rise. Here’s something to meditate on.

If we seem to be falling away from living in truth, remember that we can turn to and trust the Messiah to keep us in right standing with G-d.

Jud 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

Psa 56:13 For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before Elohim in the light of the living?

According to (2nd Thess 2:9-12) one of the biggest deceptions of the anti-messiah when he comes will be to do lying signs and wonders which many will be caught up with. But it appears that only those who have not a love for the truth will be the ones which will be swept up by the works of the lawless one. In our days we are seeing more and more people and even sadly churches following less and less of the truth. Many are not even sharing the salvation message let alone promoting evangelism. In my opinion I see the loss of truth and the lack of following the truth. Will these places or people also find themselves out of the Messiahs will when he comes? Here’s something to meditate on.

Continuing to follow truth results in goodness

Rom 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing (of the truth) seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life:

Discontinuing following truth results in swift discipline

Rom 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath. 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jewish person first, and also of the Gentile;
